GGs Ganon, you learn quickly, but you still got some bad habits that's going to stop you from getting more ground on a lot of people.

Teching for one, even though you win sometimes when you tech into attacks, you should never really do it (unless you've gotten used to never doing it, and 100% see a chance to punish a whiff). It just isn't worth the damage you take in the long run. Also, when you were 2aing my strings, I started getting a lot of damage off you by continuing it instead of dashing. Never a good idea to constantly try to hit people out of their strings, and even worse to mash out of them.

When fighting higher tier opponents, always assume that they will cover up their "mistake" and instead punish you for trying to punish them.

Well, the best ways to do this generally switches between characters... However, lower tier people who continuously stay air borne also have a fatal weakness; Teching. Not only that, they will always come down and you can almost always win with 5a if you can time it just before they land cancel into something else. You may even be able to force block with something like 66c.

If they are always jumping in, the best way to counter this, is to control the area in front of you with 5c and ground b shards. You can jump cancel this, so if they take the time to readjust their jump in for avoid your bullets, you will win the air to air if you decide to jump in yourself. Another good technique is to bait an air tech with a grounded light tap, and force them into the air with b shards or a C. Keep track of their dashes, because if they have none and they fall for your light tap, you can score an easy guard crush. As Meiling, you can't do much against them in their own airspace, but you can make them really scared of landing/chicken blocking.

TL;DR Practice tech punishes and 5c/6b/j2b zoning. When you get a lot better at air dashing, you can even throw 44j2a in there.

Oh definitely not. You made me work for my wins too. I usually play a very bait/zone style when it comes to my wako, so im waiting for you to make a move before i do.

If theres any few things i'd say, your reversal habits were a tad bit easy to catch off guard. When youre using bombs and reversals, try to mix it up, but dont use them so hastily. Sometimes you can poke them if they try to bait your reversals lol

Also, try getting into the habit of 'forcing' damage. Like, there were several times when i had low orbs, and i managed to BE out, yet you had a 4card pillar. 4 card pillar would have restricted me from BEing off the spellflash, and it'd be guaranteed damage due to no orbs. Its always good to force damage because its foolproof damage. Its always good to have some of those because its not easy to get damage against someone who knows what theyre doing, and against that, each bit of damage counts.

Keep working on it, your reimu is really good.

Try not to mash and be a bit more patient next time. As you saw, a person who knows what they're doing with their strings can instantly shut down that kind of stuff. To be honest, i wasn't really going for any specific strings/setups because i really didn't need to.

Next time, block it out, look for the openings in the strings, then look for ways to escape. Mashing is rarely the way out. I was just using the same loop over and over again in hopes that you'd somewhat adapt. It took you several games, but thats when i started using something else, and even then, you were still impatient. If you know how to BE, thats also a very strong option
