There are two main reasons for holding up the 2D>3D ideology:
1. It keeps 2D separated from 3D (which you should, because 2D is mainly about using your imagination, while 3D is a physical thing). Frankly, I think idols shouldn't be allowed on /jp/.
2. 2D is always more perfect than 3D, because in your imagination, everything is possible.
