I watched .hack//sign a long time ago, but dropped it during the last few episodes. I liked the concept, but it just got way too silly.

I never played any .hack games, and only ever saw sign and legend of the twilight. Still holds a special place in my heart, though, because it's what made me get into anime in the first place. Quick story time.

Many years ago, I was in my living room with my brother. He had been playing a video game, and then started watching TV. I fell asleep. I woke up in the middle of the night, and he was gone, but the TV was still on. There was some anime on and I loved it in my sleep deprived state. I had no clue what was going on, but these people were playing an online game.

I fell asleep again and the next morning I didn't know if it was a dream or what, because the TV was off. I looked through some TV guide we had trying to figure out what it was, but I didn't know what time I had been up, what channel it was on, or if it really happened. I told my brother about it and he said he had no clue.

Then about a month later I found some ad online with a character I recognized and the name of the show. I looked it up, watched it, and it started my downward spiral to where I am now, many years later. To think, if it weren't for .hack//legend of the twilight, I might be a normalfag.
