Ride your bike, say you don't want to go to the gym. While you can eat a lot and stay skinny, that doesn't mean you're healthy at all. If your diet consists of shit, you're starving your body of vitamins and minerals it needs to maintain energy and a correct sleep cycle.

I will modify the initial suggestion with a disclaimer: it's a good idea if you already have a degree of natural intelligence and fitness but just lack some motivation or discipline in life. They indeed get scared and stressed but they're also trained to look up to you and follow your orders without question. From this huge responsibility you develop leadership skills and find even greater motivation to improve yourself. If you seriously fuck up people who follow you like your buddy corporal we/a/boo are dead. Fuck that first exercise was horrible. There truly are 'tough' nerds/otaku in the army. Not many so try not to get them killed if you're in charge of one.
