I don't think all this trash about the janitors is true to be honest. Because we have had good janitors in the past. Like meido for example, just like we were able to aim for a better archive, we could aim for a better janitor. I think this one is ok if it isn't the one deleting posts. 4chan isn't about deleting posts of users who are chatting, at least that's what I would like to think.

From what I know about mods, they aren't necessarily the brightest bunch. Their moderation is arbitrary, and some boards receive more favouritism than others. There aren't a lot of them either. Understandable since Moot is only going to give out these privileges to his personal hipster friends.

Considering how old this site is, how much it could have evolved and changed, it's pretty lacking in moderation, community and features. In contrast it does allow a lot of freedom of speech so it isn't that bad.

As far janitors themselves go, they are hypocrites. They leave up all the /a/ and /cgl/ shit, delete VNs and Touhou discussions (regardless of their quality). Remember a week or so back, with all those /prog/ threads? Yeah those were left. He left a Pokemon MILF thread up, and deleted the other meta shit threads.
