Okay, I have separated open the seen files from the broken patch and mixed in some from the working one and got it passing the prologue (albeit with scrolling text untranslated). If someone could tell me a section that was missing and roughly how to get to it will see if it is translated and working.

Okay, mai is translated and working all the way to the end. Fast forwarded through most it and is all in english except from scrolling text scenes (think that is what was breaking the other patch compile).

The modified patch posted yesterday was breaking at the prologue so I am just guessing it could be a problem with the compilation of commands for scrolling the text at that part, but could be something else at that part. Can't get the patch to run far enough to tell if the scrolling text has been translated.

The way I got past that problem was to replace the files for that part with the working ones from the original leak. Seem to have it working now, at least to end of mai, if someone wants to do some play testing?

The voice patch is not for the standard edition, because the standard edition is made with the reallive engine, not the older avg. For the same reason, the patch will not work with the older avg edition.

So right now, you can either have english text or japanese voices.

Now, that being said, there's no reason one can't compile a translation that includes the voices and the english translation. This would not be me. I've been attempting to patch the standard edition with voices with variable results following this procedure:

Excellent, this was going to be my next course of action. While it might not crash there it may well crash elsewhere. Part of the problem with my patch was that I had to change a lot of global stuff because I couldn't get/disassemble the global header that the 'official' beta patch used. In other words, things probably broke due to being lost in disassembly.

Anyway, I suggest people use this patch from now on. Everything except Ayu's H scene I put in it. Said scene doesn't actually come up in SEEN0412 from the original SEEN of the standard edition, which is a bit strange. I wonder if there's some other edition which had it. It appears somewhere roughly in the middle of SEEN412.sjs from the original leak archive. Perhaps it actually goes somewhere else though.

tl;dr - This fix gets my seal of approval. I'm glad people can use my patch now.

The OP patch contains both the patched files and a directory of loose SEENs, the latter of which is totally unnecessary if the compiled SEEN.TXT is complete.

The OP share contained the original leak. It has a working SEEN.txt patch with an older working translation. It also contains a bunch of source files with a more uptodate translation that the leaker could not get in working order.

The second smaller share is current working version of the more uptodate translation (someone earlier in thread said they reckons Ayu's H scene may be broken/missing). If you are working on fixing/refining the leak you will want to OP patch as well, otherwise best to use the new smaller one which translates more of the game. Will use the new patch for the OP of any future threads.
