What is your socioeconomic status /jp/?

If you live at home with your parents/ they are putting your through college, use their socioeconomic status because you are not fully independent yet. Include any subsidies you receive, including money from parents, if you are indeed independent.

Upper middle class here, but I live in one of the most expensive regions of the United States, so it feels like we are actually lower middle class.

Incomes shown are of course by how much you or your parents make per year.

I have a theory that most of you NEETs out there are either in the upper end of the economic totem pole or at scrounging along at the bottom.

I believe my parents are making around $60,000 to $80,000 (canadian) a year.

It fluctuates on how much work they have though

unfortunately they also use the money to make more money with so in the end we live very cheap.

2000 euros a month after taxes, give or take. I used to make a lot more back when I was renting my warehouse to a factory, but the factory closed down and it's not likely anyone's going to invest in Greece anytime soon. Back when everything I owned was rented, I'd make more than 6000 euros a month (I also own a downtown office, which also has nobody using it nowadays and several farming fields... At least the farming fields still pay some rent. Just enough to pay for the property taxes for all the rest, though.

Now that I've been unemployed since last summer and her boyfriend left her, we're in another pickle. Have to do something before July when we get evicted and I'm down to my last $300. I'm no stranger to stressful times though so it's no big deal.

My 25 year old sister tells me this and she lives at home with us and doesn't pay rent or shit all. All her money is her own. She just buys all sorts of fancy expensive shit, pays a ton of bills for god knows what, parties and buys expensive clothes, jewelry and food and is in unbelievable amounts of debt. The median wage for a working individual in the US is somewhere between 28-32k a year.

If OP's family makes over 150k a year and feels like "lower middle class," they are just retards at managing money.
