/jp/, how do you prove you haven't trapped in a time loop?

As I said in the previous thread (Yes, we're not in a time loop, but in a shitty repost), it is certainly impossible for trillions and cuatrillions of variables to be the exact same value they were a time ago. Not to mention most of them are linear, and can't return to a previous value.

>> No.8846746

That sentence doesn't make much sense.

Anyways, if you're in a time loop, you should have memories of the future and past while being in some 'present' and being able to use those memories to predict stuff.

Otherwise, no, time loops don't make sense from a subjective point of view, you remember your past and you expect to experience your future (induction), and then you experience your future (it becomes your present) and so on and so forth. If at some point in the future you find yourself experiencing a point in the past, that would be a "time loop" and you would know that you're in one, if you're not so forgetful to not remember your past.

Time is the relationship between states. Time exists subjectively in our experiences. If time doesn't exist, neither does consciousness, yet we cannot doubt we're conscious. Stop thinking for a second and *feel*.

consciousness is an illusion

>> No.8846827

>>8846773
No, it's not. It's the only thing you know for sure to exist. You can't even know reality exists, but you can trust your senses to exist, or that you're sensing something right now and that you're thinking.
Consciousness is only an illusion if your assumption is that *only* matter exists, but you infered the existence of matter through your own senses, contradiction. I don't assume matter exists, so there is no contradiction - I only assume a certain part of math to exist (being a mathematical realist), which is sufficient for explaining both the appearance of matter and consciousness in a non-dualist way.

I know it because you keep making that stupid grammar mistake. I don't know from what shitty country you're from, but you should study about the formation of the present perfect continous tense. Your sentence should be: "...you haven't *been* trapped in a time loop?" If you don't use the been there it sounds like active voice instead of passive voice, and that makes no sense at all because then you can't have a prepositional phrase like that as the direct object.

I don't get this. How can something that can be used so effectively to calculate and model behavior just be said to not exist. You might as well say force does not exist.

Read some McTaggart, nerd. Time, even as a concept, is inherently contradictory by its own definition.
