Also, this game might be the most interesting thing I've played yet. Other VNs, even when I've enjoyed them, I've felt like taking breaks more frequently.

And why the fuck hasn't Kou guessed that the version of Sora in his sisters online area is an AI yet (unless I'm completely wrong). Slow protagonists annoy me.

there's only one thing you can call Kou being slow to realize and it's to the extend that its a joke and that thing you mentioned isn't it and there are reasons why he doesn't notice it and it's not like it takes long to be revealed, otherwise he is pretty good in realizing stuff so don't worry.

For a game about betraying, raping and then blackmailing your bosses it had pretty happy endings and the new epilogues that were added made them even happier.

I just finished Chaos;Head and got both the A ending and AA ending. I was a bit unsatisfied by them. Did anyone else feel like the characters were wasted? After Rimi started being shoved down your throat, it seems like the focus on the other girls stopped. I felt like they all needed more development. Not to mention Yua and Nanami did barely anything with their Di-Swords. Was this fixed in Chaos;Head Noa, considering how each of the characters have their own routes?

Also, I heard Ending B is the True End. Is this true.

Been enjoying Ayami's route in 恋めくりクローバー

A great charage if you like any of the 3 heroines. Very light on the drama. Protagonist isn't terrible either.

Since the game is separated into a main route + friend/lover scenes throughout, there's a sense of disconnection since you can choose any friend/lover scene in any order. There are plenty of these scenes though.

Interaction with heroines outside the one you pick is pretty minimal.

The whole puzzle game thing is pretty worthless and simply an excuse for the characters to get together. I'm sure it will tie into the ending in some way though.

Finished Verita. It's a great game with tons of amazing, moving and chilling moments. Ekuria's character development is awesome (though I wish she stayed tsundere longer). The gameplay is pretty fun too.

My only complaints is that the dual protagonist system kinda ruins the pacing for me especially at the start, it's like I was playing two different games at the same time. Also, I feel like the game is trying way too hard to make Celica and Louie look cool whenever they met. I'm also a bit disappointed by the lack of appearance/prominence of Genrin 2 characters. All we get is that slut Karian and she's annoying as hell. Actually I think the game would be way better without her.

One thing I don't understand though is how Luna Clear and Satia are connected? She couldn't be Satia's reincarnation since Celica was talking to Luna Clear about searching for Satia's soul at the end of the Light route. Not to mention there are a lot of scenes that hints the Satia's soul is still inside her own body.
Also, who is Shuri supposed to be a reincarnation of? The only notable females in Celica's past is Kaya(now Marinya) and Satia(Luna Clear?).

Shame this game is hard to recommend because it's tightly connected to Zero and Genrin2. If you read it without reading those two first you'd get confused and a lot of scenes would lose its impact.

Finished Mahoyo.
It wasn't too bad.
Well the slice of life/character interaction was really dull as expected, and there is a ton in Mahoyo but the production helps at making them easier to shallow.
There is also a lot of characters who basically didn't get any screentime, though I guess they are tie-in for the sequels.

Personally I really liked chapter 5, it's easily the best part of the game and really Mahoyo is worth reading just for that chapter.
After that the game went back to a slump but things started to get interesting again around chapter 10 when Touko appeared.
The scene where Soujurou beats the Wolf was kind of bullshit but I guess acceptable in a chuuni way, the production value when Aoko reached the 5th magic was godlike.

Well for a final word I'll say that Nasu does action/chuuni well as usual but the writing for everything else isn't really to my taste, by the end I still couldn't really "feel" the characters, there is no "story" or thematic like FSN or Tsukihime either.
I guess the big TM fans who already love Aoko before even reading it won't have that problem though.
A good 8/10 title, though admittedly without the godlike production value I'd rate it lower.

Someone needs to tell MLA's writer to shape the fuck up, learn how to edit and write stories because this isn't how you do it.

Can someone tell me what people find so fascinating about this eroge? Is it the last eps? I really doubt the 2-3 last episodes will save this boring trite. I'm pretty sure all who voted 10 just skimmed past the boring parts and only read it for the "action". By the way even the action scenes are lame and don't really show anything new.

Played through a few ends for kara no shoujo already.
Honestly I think the notebook spoiled the game a couple of times. When Murase was first introduced, his Character list profile was fully detailed for the span of a few lines.. probably a bug, but it literally told me who he conspired with to kidnap Toko (takes place a week? after). Moreover the evidence list was also a spoilerfest, when you first buy tojiko the ring, you get a evidence list update for the ring. This coupled along with other cues turned into the most obvious foreshadowing ever: being told in the past that yukiko's severed hand being delivered with the wedding ring, tojiko's ring getting stuck conveniently after, evidence list update + a clear expectation new victims to emerge soon given the pace/course of the game thusfar.
Not to mention, Every other women being infertile, everyone having some obscure weird disease, incest being commited by everyone (except the protag, why yukari ; ;) Mira having a miracle virgin birth (after some incest no less), then when I choose to shoot Saito, I find out he has some rare condition that reversed the positions of his organs and the bullet missed his heart... WTF. Hopefully when I get to true route it doesn't disappoint as much.

-It's unvoiced so you read it pretty fast.
-A good amount of that script is spent in the Archive.

Script sizes are really not a great indication of length because the amount of garbage text varies widely between engines

>> No.8854998

According to super tlwiki, it has the same script size and lines as sharnoth, so it's probably just dense, but still short since Sharnoth is twice the reading time.

The script sizes being referred to only measure the text one would actually read while playing the game.

>>8854995
-That would only be the case for people who listen to the entire voiced lines, which I don't think most people do.
-Only valid point in your post.
-The same could be said of just about any VN.
-That's understandable but that doesn't mean TM should have to sell their games for less than other brands just because people have special expectations of them.

I don't know about that "often"... You can't really skip the political/deep parts on ML, Muramasa, Ikusa Megami... actually almost any game I can remember that has some kind of political intrigue would lose quite a bit of its charm if you skipped that part.

I'm guessing people who seriously think it's a hard to translate game (as opposed to the usual trolls) don't think so because its vocabulary or concepts are difficult to grasp or anything. I could understand the game just fine but I'd have trouble transposing it in english leaving the feel of the script as intact as possible, much like games whose writing is one of the strong points that get severely gimped when translated by students.
