Only faggots use the PS2 sprites.
R07 art has a lot of personality. You can instantly tell which character is who and their expressions are very unique.
Other "proffesional" sprites on the other hand, they look like some idiot 2D fodder character that just put a green wig on.

K1, Tomitake, Takano, Delicious-san, Kasai, Satoko's Uncle, Irie, ... they're all very distinct and colorful. Why would you replace them with generic people?

I find the PS2 sprites to be acceptable and R07's sprites to be acceptable.

Of the two I would prefer to read with R07's sprites, but if I would prefer to take the story seriously [e.g. have not watched the anime/read entire plot synopsis/mass spoilers] I would prefer to utilize the PS2 sprites.
