Alright, I installed it and my computer didn't explode, but the text is like that. Any ideas how to fix it? The game just ignores my pleas to change the font.

Alright, I got it. There was a "Staircase Subs Custom" font at the bottom and it seems to be the only one working properly.

sage tip:
execute ms dos (cmd) and paste this:
copy c:\\windows\fonts\"Staircase Subs Custom.ttf" c:\\
, and then go to C and install it, this will prevent the font from disappearing every time you reboot/ turn off your computer.
There is a space between "Subs" and "Custom"
