If you look on the bottom right of your Soku screen when you're in an online match (assuming you're the host), it will tell you the delay (in frames). If you need me to explain further than this, let me know, but generally: the higher the number, the longer the game takes to register your inputs (this is not a good thing).

Japanese, Weather Patched, English Patched, 1.10 and 1.10a versions are all compatible with each other
You'd only have a problem connecting if:
- The person hosting doesn't have his ports forwarded properly
- Someone is using version 1.03 or lower
- Someone didn't connect Hisoutensoku with SWR

I think it fails if someone doesn't have all characters unlocked, but it's not confirmed

Sure, they're horrifyingly punishable on whiff (like if I'm holding Slash of Eternity on top of my deck), but otherwise they're pretty damn safe on block, as far as I know. Alice isn't one of the characters I play, though, so I can't really say from experience.

If I may give some advice, you should try to adjust your methods of approach a little more. From my smattering of Meiling experience, I definitely understand that actually getting into melee is one of the hardest parts about playing her, but you should look at some alt skills or *something* that will give you a better method of getting in than 214BC or high jump and graze in. Part of Alice's weaknesses is that her skillset is *extremely* specialized; if the enemy Alice understands your gameplan, all she has to do is keep using the move that counters your move at the appropriate time. Hence my continual high jump 6As

My whole style is based on using the walls, hehe... But when the opponent is too fast/aggressive, it leaves me no time to put them. My lack of skills + a bit of delay made it even more difficult. It's probably obvious, but my game is just putting walls and trying to reversal or counter...

Thanks for the games Quilfish. I wish I could give some advice about Remilia. She was actually the first character I ever started playing. Her move set is really tricky. Just remember that the best way to fight an Alice is to always keep her on the defensive. If she ever gets her rhythm going, with her dolls covering her melee attacks, things get much more tricky when fighting her. Make more use of crossups. The simplest example is dashing overhead and using 2A mid-dash

I find it funny how if you get me in a corner, I pretty much lose half of my health bar before I get out, but if I can stay in the mid field, you lose half of *your* health before you can get yourself back in. I wish we didn't have a bit of delay between us. I got a lot of hold commands and 246 moves that really costed me health. Something to look out for, is that you can't win against me in the corner (normally) when I string into f.a, or after a B level red inch crush. It's my bnb trap, but you managed to catch me out of it a lot due to delay. I tried baiting a lot of j.6a s too, but I ended up just being hit by a lot of them. I also drop a lot of air combos, and China's air combo whiffs are wayyy too punishable.

Very enjoyable nonetheless. Will play again another time.

The delay was a bit extreme, like it's been with most of the people I've played here for the past few days. Sucks, but can't be helped since Finland's so far away from everything.

I hope you're a bit more careful when playing with less delay, otherwise such frequent use of unsafe moves is going to bite you in the leg when they can be easily reacted to.
