With /vg/ absorbing the majority of the JRPG and VN discussion there's nothing of value left in /jp/

Why do you still come here?

>> No.8747877

To ruin your day.

>> No.8747878

>JRPG
>VNs
I never discussed those here...

I'd rather read a discussion about untranslated VNs I can't read than the same shit all over again with people posting pictures like this unironically.

>> No.8747891

The /vg/ VN threads are fucking terrible.

>> No.8747892

We could have had a /vn/ board and /jp/ could have been deleted but some people actually liked this shithole enough to stop both from happening.

>> No.8747896

This just means that the retards from /a/v/b/ will stop coming here eventually and things will finally settle back to normal.
I fail to see the problem, OP.

>> No.8747900

>>8747896
'normal'?

>> No.8747914

It's good that the visual novels are gone.

Now we can get back to what this board is truly about - the life and struggle of young men with autism.

>> No.8747916

Kinda ironic that OP's girl is from an untranslated title and /vg/ doesn't know enough Japanese to properly enjoy it.

To shitpost xD

Suck my cock dude

>> No.8747980

>>8747916
Neither does most of /jp/.

>> No.8748002

To discuss untranslated VNs. Although from what I've seen of /vg/ even out of translated VNs they only discuss the same half dozen or so over and over again. So I wouldn't go there even to talk about translated VNs.

/vg/, green texting, feels, normalfags, circle jerks and so on.

No thanks.

>> No.8748014

>>8747980
Yeah, true. We have what? 10 people who can read Japanese, right? That's still way better than 0 from /vg/.

>> No.8748050

New JRPGs are boring and old ones don't need discussion.

I never played a VN in my whole life and the last JRPG I played was Final Fantasy 13 that I never finished because of the retarded characters

>> No.8748080

I come here to slam with the best and not jam with the rest.

Well to be fair you and the other idolfags never really did belong here.

>> No.8748127

Jrpgs never fucking belonged here.

I can see the /vg/ VN crowd changing after a couple of months, getting sick of tripscum and mindless spoiling - and abandoning the place gradually. Perhaps learning Japanese in the process. Guess what place is left.
/jp/.

Because /jp/ actually plays FG.

Why so frustrated?
/vg/ is waiting for you.

>> No.8748428

What the fuck, nerd? You think you can just come here fresh from /a/ and ask pointless questions - making a new shitthread to pollute the front page, no less - as if we're your goddamned babby's first electric boogaloo watch with mummy 4chan tutorial? Seriously? Is this guy hontou no serious? Am I missing something?

Better go back to where you came from now you fat homo.

>> No.8748634

But /vg/ is one of the worst board on 4chan. It was made specifically so that they'd stop shitting up /v/ with their circlejerks.

>> No.8748983

When I first looking through /vg/ a few days ago, I thought it looked pretty neat.

Then I noticed the threads read worse than tripe I could witness at places like Reddit or Gamefaqs. Sometimes the threads even reminded me of the ancient troll pictures with choice posts cropped from Gaia threads. The threads were full of people using avatars, posting with names and trips, and generally acting like obnoxious 12-year-olds who wandered onto 4chan at the library during lunch break. More posts were directed at non-Anonymous users about non-related subjects, than were directed at the thread topic.

I was so disgusted I threw up on my keyboard and then couldn't use my computer for a couple days while my keyboard dried after cleaning it.

It was the worst thing that happened to me this year.

>> No.8749066

>>8748634

Are you fucking kidding? Look at /v/, then at /vg/ and tell me the former is better. Fuck you, /v/ is even worse now than it used to be because moot took away the one type of thread that actually necessitated videogame discussion. /vg/, however, is actually kinda reminiscent of /v/ in 2009 or so in the better times of the day.
