Regarding dA/Pixiv squabble, I assume the majority of people who say Pixiv is vastly better than dA either:
1. Just browse and don't actually participate in the community, or
2. can't breach the language barrier in the first place.
Harsh assumptions, but anyone actually going around to various areas of Pixiv and its offshoots would know both sites are pretty much the same, just built for their respective cultures. The Japanese are generally less outspoken, and I suppose the average level of art is slightly higher, but that's about it. But again, it doesn't matter where you go, all that matters is that you want to create.

Just a sidenote, but the name-dropping 'maginigger' troll and the 'talent vs. hard work' troll are the same person with maybe one or two bandwagoners, indulging in a personal vendetta.

I'm pretty good at photoshop and like to do new things to keep my knowledge up. But most of what I do is just place text or run filters on doujinshi pages to make them look nice. Color pages can be tough because I usually remove all the dust spots and little rips here and there.

I have been working at it, and I believe my anatomy has been improving. Usually I just genuflect and accept when people tell me that, but even with my mediocre understanding of anatomy, I have some idea of how the human body works on at least a basic level. That upper yellow line in his redline starts at the kneecap, but it's aligned entirely with flesh, ignores the femur entirely, and then connects directly into her crotch. Legs don't work remotely like that. If you correct it and align it along the bone, then stop the line at where it would connect to her pelvis, both lines end up roughly the same(which is what I got continuously even allowing for perspective and margin of error from such thick thighs and wide hips). I do believe that the legs could use work, but I'm sure I was closer on the right track than that fix suggests.

That background is not very fitting like someone else already mentioned but it's not bad either, maybe you should play a bit with it. How about the same kind of background (atmosphere it creates, etc) but with elements from the game? Like instead of just squares of different colors you could try all the forms of the game like the triangle, circle, square, etc. But keep the dark feeling it gives.

Irisu herself looks good overall, but if you want me to go into details:
-The rabbit's half ear is the other one, from our point of view the left one.
-Irisu sleeves are defying gravity, they should fall since there's no button holding the end of them together.

It'd be difficult and not really make much sense to post most of those things separately and not on a body. The mini-arm warmers, for example, are basically just stretchy rectangles that wouldn't really have any meaning without the context of the, er, elbow. It's not like I'm doing it for attention whoring, as I hid my face; it's just far more practical and actually shows everything being used for its purpose.

If it was possible to do that, like with the Tenshi dress, I would, but this costume doesn't really allow for that.
