Seriously. Unlike all the other fairies, Cirno came into being without any wings, looking no different than any other human child, aside from her colouration. However, as she noticed that all the other fairies had wings, she began to feel left out, if only subconciously, and as a result, she subconciously formed herself a pair of wings out of crystallized air, her control over entropy so powerful as to be able to solidify the water within the atmosphere surrounding her body at any given time. She maintains her ice wings without even thinking about it, most of the time at least, though she does occasionally 'lose' them while she's focused on doing something moreso than usual...they come back once she loses interest, in any case, and Daiyousei is too polite to point this out to her, so she isn't even aware that she didn't have wings at one point, by now.
