Mastering the art of changing one's form is actually pretty cool though, and I really don't see how it wouldn't make for an effective combat strategy.

Can't run fast enough? Modify your legs.
Can't fly fast enough? Become more aerodynamic and maybe even give yourself wings.
Can't take the opponent's attack? If you can make yourself into any shape or even as small as you want, you can definitely dodge it. Even if you can't dodge it, you can make one of your less necessary body parts into a hardened shield.
Need more offensive power? Your body can become any weapon.

And that's just as far as modifying your own body is concerned. I admit though, Mamizou is probably not the strongest by any means.

The problem when talking about powerlevels is how vaque some Touhou's skills are and that there are almost never any clear limits. Ability to the extent of destroying absolutely anything and Ability to the extent of manipulating boundaries are probably the prime examples.

Nope. If her power was limitless, why can she not beat the Watatsukis? It's true that she might just be letting them think they are more powerful and avoiding calling attention to herself or something like that, but the fact remains that we have the clear implication of there being a limit to Yukari's abilities.

That's almost certainly false regardless.

Second of all, Reimu. She has been defeated multiple times throughout the series canon. I don't see why everything thinks she's so incredibly hax, let alone nearly as powerful as Yukari, but I'm not really willing to argue about this so I'll just leave it at that.
(I am willing to admit that Reimu is a natural genius and quite powerful, but that's about it)

If anything, Reimu's function in Gensokyo is basically to be Yukari's janitor, and keep order. She is the rules. It seems to me like Yukari respects her for that reason and because the existence of a Hakurei is necessary for Gensokyo. That doesn't mean that she doesn't value Reimu as a person, but that's beside the point.

I suppose I pretty much agree with most of the other stuff you said, though.
