Why does everyone on /jp/ act like they have autism?

I met a kid with autism once and he could barely talk, his mood would swing about randomly, and he had crazy retard strength. Are any of you actually autistic? You just seem shy and socially inept.

We all have internet-diagnosed asperger's syndrome.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Though I have mood swings, from time to time. I can talk, but I stutter a lot.

No autism, I don't know what I have, don't really care. I went to a therapist and psychiatrist before and I will never go to one ever again. I will never trust them again.

I don't think I've ever met someone with autism...

>> No.8726821

I for one don't pretend to be autistic, because I know I'm not.

I probably have ADHD and OCD, but it's not really a disorder because everyone has it.

I can stand being around people but it doesn't interest me, I usually end up in my room.

They caught it early so I was given therapy ect, that might have something to do with it.

>crazy retard strength
My grandfather had assburger's, he was 83 years old and it took 3 of us in our 20s to hold him down.
Seriously I don't know what the fuck is with their strength, or maybe we didn't that much force because we were afraid that we might break his bones, but still I don't think an 83 year old bedridden guy can have all that strength.

It isn't that they are strong usually, it's more that certain forms of autism (usually learning/developing types) have an effect on nerve endings which makes them feel less than a normal person would.

When you guys use all your strength you can feel it straining your muscles so you don't push harder, someone with autism won't feel that strain nearly as much and so will push themselves further without realizing they are hurting themselves.
