It's a transient equation, the best thing to do is to graph 2x and tan[x] on the same axis and look for intercepts.

Using the fixed point method with Φ(x) := 1/2 tan(x).
Because of Φ'(x) = 1/2(1 + (tan(x))^2) the function Φ is a contraction for x in [0,π/4) and it would converge to 0.

While your contempt is understandable, that's not true.
I think I might have visited 4chan for the first time around the time /jp/ was created, but I'm not entirely sure.
I pretty much lurked ED and /b/ for a couple of months, and figured that the shit to win ratio was unfavorable.
Then I went for /a/, and when the second Umineko novel was translated I started becoming a /jp/ regular too.
I don't post very often.
I also browse /g/, and to the gentlemen of /g/, no I don't have a solid wallpaper with an animu girl on it.

I'm not entirely sure on the matter, but what I called High School is actually called "Gymnasie".
I think they're pretty much equivalents, but I could be wrong.
