Early on, aside from RNG rape, Wil should easily be one of your best characters, as he's durable, hits moderately hard and is still quite fast at that point.

Yeah, you might want to try and put a hold on leveling and advance to the next chapter then, so he can continue growing where it's important.
Wil's going to be fairly sparse on non-exploratory type skills, but the ones he gets are generally pretty good.
Like delicious Double Move fairly early on.
His biggest flaw is that he gets a handful of weapons during the main game, and the ones with decent attack for where you are, are Earth element which a ton of shit resists.

Anyone know what causes this error? It pops up when the game tries to load the graphic for leveling up, critical hits or placing new furniture. The images still display and it doesn't halt the game or anything, so its mostly just an annoyance.

In the Underground Lake there's a collection point close to the home base that gives both types of wood. Just enter the map, capture the point and withdraw several times untill you have the necessary amount of wood. Of course, this should be done before starting the quest because it takes more that 10 days to farm for everything.

Apparently I need to grind the batslut to 25 to get elftits darkness outfit. Fucking fuck, this is going to suck.

I'll just point out that excessive grinding can be a bad thing.

I think it was that level 28 Rym dragon, it cause Yuela to jump to level 17-18 just from tanking it, which in turn cause her Command points to increase by two.

So now I have this quest related map which requires her and I'm already using up 42 points out of 52. Meaning, I can only have 5 characters on that map instead of 6 ;_;

Generally, as long as you have abundant resource, it never hurts. Since you can always sell weapons you don't use.

Weapons are pretty important. But I'd suggest owning many weapons for the same character, because it fucking sucks if you have an elemental weapon and end up against someone who resists or absorbs it. You can change weapons in the middle of gameplay, so it's pretty handy.

I'm in chapter 2 and Ath has such a shitty weapon collection.
The first one drains you from valuable Ore resource.
The second one has a pathetic +1 str boost and more penalty stats...
The third one is decent, but requires electricity material which can't be found in chapter 2....

At least with Suina you can kill a lot of those Bagre fish and get lucky and harvest a weapon from them.

I find that elftits special outfits tend to be the best looking, at least so far. Yuela's are plain weird and Emi's aren't all that great either, except for Sage which is pretty cool.

I love the BGM for the dark/evil areas. It's a perfect contrast to the rest of the upbeat music.

There is a trainer for this game btw, that lets you modify anything you want, however it only works for the japanese version. You can find it easily by googling alchemy meister trainer and following the leads. To use it start the game and load up your save, then press the lower left button.

I have a problem

Everybody except Wil and Yuela are level 40 in my newgame+. Killing monsters with their levels adjusted to new game+ give no experience, and they aren't strong enough to do any of the level 50-60 dungeons. Deadbeat dungeon also gives them close to no experience.

So a level 20 monster (boosted to 50) will take 30 damage from a completely counter-element level 40 elftit, and then give her 3 experience. So mercy grinding isnt an option either.

Also ero scenes are unlocked by leveling up the costumes so yeah it's worth leveling them all up to a point (at least, the heroine you're interested in).

ok I got the treasure monster to spawn twice but it refuses to drop any treasure chests. I've tried passing turns and killing it with different characters but it just won't drop one. is there any better way to get money? I spent all my money getting the ramen stall plans that I can't make yet so I need to make it back before the next chapter.

Sage is pretty cool because loli mage is squishy as hell, she needs the extra bulkiness it gives, and upgrading it enough gives you the Soul Shield ability which also helps. Also Sage just looks better design-wise.

Doing Crayl's missions unlocks Elftits wind outfit. Crayanne unlocks Earth outfit for Emelita, but that's a lot later.

Anyone done the extra missions from the menu? Specifically, I'm stuck in the Hotspring Extra Mission for Kohakuren and Uya. There are two switches and a closed magic door. I killed all enemies and had the two each step on one, but after ending turns nothing happens and then I lose. I tried switching their places to no avail.
