I've been working on a tulpa for about a week now. I recommend listening to white noise with the lights off when you meditate. You can enter your dream world much more easily. The way to interact with your tulpa at first, the way I see it, is to slip into a trance. It's kind of like lucid dreaming. You know that you're not in the real world, but it feels real.

I could easy imagine a story about a guy who is working at some shitty job and has no friends.1 day he finds something on the internet about tulpas and starts doing it for fun , until he managed to create a tulpa.

Then he would start to enjoy hes new life with hes tulpa , until he meets a real girl and start having interest on the real girl.

Like a love Triangle, Real Girl , Guy, Tulpa

and slowly the tulpa is fading away the more time he spends with hew new real girlfriend.

It's the easiest method if you don't have good dream recall.

>> No.8647716

>>8647673
where's the tension and climax though? it wouldn't work as a movie without that.

just having it fade away and then the end sounds boring. make the tulpa fight for the protagonist's affection indirectly. make the girlfriend notice the guy's behavior, and eventually threaten to send the guy to a mental hospital. have the tulpa start suggesting the hero to leave, then harm, then kill his girlfriend, going all psychotic obsessive over the guy as his attention to the tulpa slowly starts to slip.

have it bring the hero close to a mental breakdown, and eventually at the end to make a decision.

either listen to the tulpa, kill the girlfriend and become a fugitive, just him and his tulpa or listen to the girlfriend and begin a long therapy where he tries to ignore the tulpa who gets increasingly violent to get his attention, trying to show him crazy images, even as far as to torture him for attention. the hero eventually manages to put the tulpa away and make it disappear, and then you'd see him recovering with his girlfriend.

then right before the credits start to roll, the tulpa manifests in the corner of his eye and he gets freaked out, turns his head in that direction, fade to black.

The first episode could be about the guys life and how lonely he is and depressed and at 1 very awful day he is thinking to jump from a building but in the last second a hes tulpa became real inside hes mind and stopped him from jumping and that would be the first episode in short.

Second episode could be more about the tulpa and her character and next episode would be the tulpa and main actor having fun and he is starting to enjoy hes life. later he would meet a nice cute co worker

Maybe this is a stupid question.
But for the people who managed to create one (or for the people who are still in the process of doing so), do you imagine her/him in 2D or in 3D form?
Because this is /jp/, I'd say that more people would try to imagine them as cute 2D characters, but wouldn't this be very difficult?
You know, imagining a 2D character in a completely 3D world.

And wouldn't your subconscious just transform them into 3D later on because it's more realistic and known to you?

I'm sorry for these kind of questions, but I'm highly interested.

So what exactly is this? A guide to developing something like a multiple personality "disorder"? A mental construct similar to one's own stream of conscious thought/imagination? What puzzles me most is if you would have access to the inner thought processes that go in this new mental construct... I tend to keep my mind very open with myself (I try not to keep any secrets from myself, and avoid fliching from thoughts, even if disturbing) and am very reflective. Making such a mental construct seems like it would be making a black box inside my mind, which is ... strange, unless of course I would completely understand that mental construct... It also makes me wonder if such a construct could have subjective experience different from mine, but if that were possible, wouldn't that make it close some dissociative personality disorder?
