Reposting from previous thread to solicit more responses/opinions-- has anybody ordered a 1/6 cold cast fig, and had it shipped overseas before? It says on Amiami that there's a high likelihood of it breaking, but they're usually pretty good when it comes to padding shit.

The pose is good considering what a lot of other Griffon figures are like, but the face and the base are going to be horrible. Like the anon above said as well though Griffon's QC is terrible, had to mix some paint that I use for Warhammer and go over a few bad spots on my Utsuho figure. Might end up ordering it anyway though, I mean I doubt Hatate will get a figure by anyone else in the near future.

I opened the Merry that had a few minor mushed corners on the box, and set her up. She's too tall for the shelf I had picked out for her ;__; Looks like it's rearranging time.

Anyways, I'll set up and take some pics if anyone wants. It's really, really well done. Even comes with little supports to keep her coat tails from drooping over time.

PS Did anyone know that her skirt is cast off? Well, now you do. Her skirt appears to be totally removable to reveal the pantsu beneath. Looks like you'd have to actually cut it off, though, unless I'm missing some obvious way to take it apart.

I'm considering getting some Final Fantasy figures. I remember there being some SD type ones for Final Fantasy 4 that were pretty nice - have they made ones like that for 6 yet?

I really liked Terra in particular so I was thinking of getting the Dissidia figure, but since I'm anal I'd repaint the hair, I think a lot of the later artists sometimes forgot that Amano drew EVERYONE blonde in his style. Is that figure any good out of the package?

Also unsure if this is /fig/ territory, but can someone recommend some affordable One Piece figures? I would like if they were posable, but I can't really afford the playarts nor do I have room for that many larger figures, and I want the full cast if possible.

I'd suggest taking a look at amiami and searching one piece. The most affordable figures are almost always the ones that are up for preorder or in stock at amiami. Can't make any recommendations since I'm not into one piece nor do I own any.

As for terra dissidia figure not sure what figure you are talking about, it would be wise to check myfigurecollection.net and check the user uploaded photos if there are any, they'll give you a much better idea of how it looks than the stock photographs for it.

As for final fantasy SD figures not that I know of nor can I find.
