so I heard helium masks are actually not so great because it'd possibly leak out from the sides and let some air in as well. Exit bags with helium seems to be the best bet for assuring it gets done, and also seem to be cheap considering it's just a bag with an elastic sewn on.

But I've no sewing experience at all. Would it seem like a hard project for an amateur? Seems like it may be one of those "well how hard can just putting a needle over and under around the whole bag be?" only to find it does a horrible job and leaves tons of escape passages at the base.

I was thinking of making this there but I dunno if they'd even know what I'm talking about. And /jp/ is like my home board. I'm too scared to go outside my house.

I don't know what to say. Perhaps you should spend a day considering other options rather than suiside. Get consouling or become a hermit in the wilderness.

Go to russia maybe? That place is huge.

I don't understand why everybody thinks helium exit bags are painless. It's basically a feeling of suffocation. While it technically only takes minutes to knock you out, it feels much longer because you start losing your senses pretty early on.

So in short, it doesn't take much for your body to start panicking. It takes a lot of will power to actually go through with exit bags.

Trust me, I tried it and failed like everything else in life ;__;

Interesting, considering that the panic reflex caused by asphyxiation occurs only when there are heavy gases being inhaled. Helium is lighter than most air, so it would not trigger a panic reflex. You did it wrong and got a ton of carbon dioxide in the bag.

Which brings me to another point - there needs to be an opening at the bottom of the bag so that heavy gases (such as carbon dioxide) fall out, thus preventing the panic reflex.

One more thing - if you can get nitrogen, that's preferred to helium.

after I have seen that short documentary about the people who kill themselves on that forest near Mount Fuji I was convinced that I will never have the courage to kill myself, if ready to sort of "leave all my existence" I would actually pack on the only thing from civilization that I would miss (besides internet) which are benzodiazepines, and leave on foot aimlessly till I reached some place wild and desert.

and there I would actually try to survive, be some sort of hermit, leave only with meditation and the struggle to feed myself on the wild.

That's... doing it wrong. If you want into the Japanese happy hunting grounds, then find a vintage Nanbu pistol, point it at your image in a mirror, and let it kill you when it explodes like the legendary piece of shit it is. A weeaboo failure of a human being killed by a Japanese failure of a gun should be enough combined felicitousness to punch a hole right through to Gensokyo.

I dunno, man. I once inhaled helium from several balloons in a row to try to see how squeaky my voice could get when I was like 12 and ended up waking up on the floor with some blood tricking from my head from when I passed out. Was pretty instantaneous. Only took about 5 balloons too.

On an unrelated blogging note, I have torticollis. Started about an hour ago and this shit is excruciating. Took me forever to align myself to the computer.

That's too fucking long I want you gone now, just used carbon monoxide or something, you have a car hook up a hose to your mouth/nose and breath in the fumes form the exhaust pipe

it'll take awhile but i'll be painless and you pass out before you feel anything, if you don't have a mask get in an enclosed space like a garage make sure it's sealed.

You better take more than one bullet.

Also, thinking that there are /jp/ users out there so sad that they want to go to gensokyo early makes me pretty upset. We need some type of offline support group setup to make sure we can all have decent lives. I may not be depressed, but it would be really fun to be able to do things with /jp/ outside of just talking on the internet.

I've looked up this method. Apparently most modern day cards don't have enough carbon monoxide emissions to make this a reliable way to go. Also carbon monoxide apparently makes some people exctemely nausious before passing out, sometimes to the point of vomiting and overall feeling terrible. I don't wanna go out covered in vomit and having my last moments feel like I'm drunk out of my mind.

Also I don't own a car. Or a garage for that matter.

Is publishing that legal? I wasn't expecting copyright notices, photo of the authors and all that.

I remember that in other thread like this, some anon posted the link to a page pointing a lot of methods and why most of them don't work. I think I have that link but I couldn't find it.
