Is there a light novel recommendation image floating around? I have various VN rec images saved, but I don't seem to have one for LN's. Archives didn't turn up anything either. Maybe we could try and make one if need be.

Plus the Spice&Wolf novels that are available as english books. The Haruhi novels are fine too.

Unless you refer to the raw novels, in that case I have no goddamn idea. Baccano!/Durarara series is great if you access to it, along with Monogatari. Then you have the lighter fare of the Raildex novels which I don't particularly care for.

The .hack novels are translated too, I think. They're prequels to the games and TV series so you can read them without knowing anything about the saga.

look up the konna light novel ga sugoi awards on wikipedia

you'll find all the standard stuff in like the the top 10 for each year and then look up each years top characters

also I specifically recommend library girl, it's really entertaining and likes to change styles (the same reason people like Issin since zaregoto)
and yah read zaregoto too

yah sorry, I was remembering what it was about, all my life I've been really into reading books and novels due to my horrible health, that's how I got into manga and then /jp/ related stuff and I've watched a little anime but not much.
