>The world's largest Internet search company and the world's most powerful electronic surveillance organization are teaming up in the name of cybersecurity

http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2010/07/exclusive-google-cia/
>The investment arms of the CIA and Google are both backing a company that monitors the web in real time — and says it uses that information to predict the future.

Kind of old news. What are you guys doing to keep your data private? Tips about preserving your privacy and preventing tracking are also welcome here.

JIDF and Botnet employees are not welcome under any circumstances.

How will /jp/ deal with this new age of draconian surveillance?

By the way, your hentai will be conisdered deviant and a threat to national security.

I don't have any hentai because I'm not a disgusting pervert with a chronic masturbation problem.

Then why are you here?

Even if you are a truNEET basement dweller, this affects you.

I've long since given up using Google.

Don't care since I'm not American they can't do shit to me.

>> No.8592969 [DELETED]

Shit. This is news to me even though I've known this was going to happen sooner or later.

I don't think I do anything TOO illegal. Still, the idea behind it makes me very uncomfortable.

Since no government understands the web, I predict that this will lead to people disappearing for blogging about their garden or posting pictures of their children. In other words, we're no more at risk of being murdered for not committing crimes than the general public by virtue of the fact that targets will likely be random.

That's what they all say.

I'm pretty sure that after the megaupload fiasco, the US can bend the law to make it so that using a site with servers in the US means you committed crimes in the US and can be extradited. Don't think they won't waste the money on it; we bomb weddings on the opposite side of the planet.

Don't worry I got a song to cheer you up.

Bonus points if you can spot all the classic NWO imagery in this video.

Trans-humanism.

I thought /jp/ was a healthily paranoid board, but it seems not many people care about this.

Laugh as they try to sort through the deluge of information that 100 supercomputers probably couldn't sort out in a timely manner.

One girl could do it seamlessly, why can't a team of americans do the same?

They wouldn't just read every post or search. They would just sort them by order of relevance using a list of keywords that would be updated every 7 or 15 days. This would cut down the amount of text to be processed significantly.
The CIA planned for these types of surveillance programs decades ago

As easy as encrypting your shameful and dirty shit with your own logarithms, if you can't do that you're not worth the privacy.

>> No.8593237 [DELETED]

If you had read either of those, you would have realized that neither affects anyone here in any meaningful way, and you wouldn't have wasted your time making a bad thread.

They would have to treck thorugh a world of polar bears to reach me

Well the only thing left to do is to go to work for the CIA and be the only one able to access the library of nice things they won't let anyone else have.

Not much I can do about it, really. I can try to avoid Google if possible, and use programs to protect my privacy or anonymity online. Maybe create a truecrypt partition if necessary, though it doesn't look like it will be.

This is one of those things that simply can't be helped.

People with your attitude are the reason the jews are winning.

It CAN be helped, you just don't want to help.
