Why don't people like the Watatsukis?

They actually didn't do a single thing wrong. The only thing you could possibly hate them for is the fact that they look down on earthlings.

But, compared to Reimu who threatened to expose the entirety of the moon to Death, the Lunarians (who, by the way, rarely ever get involved in the affairs of Earth) look perfectly civil.

Even after all of that, they let Reimu and the others go home, unharmed. They even treated Reimu to Lunarian food and such. The only thing they asked of her was to prove that someone from Earth is capable of calling on the power of the gods.

I never understood all the hate against those moon sisters. Did anyone really hope that Reimu and friends would beat them and conquer the moon?

ZUN didn't draw SSiB, Aki★Eda did. Not that it matters, because most people seem to hate ZUN's art anyway (I for one like it very much).

Also, in the Tenshi route, it's revealed that she was holding back in all the other routes. Oh, and Tenshi really did beat up Reimu.

Personally, I like Tenshi a lot. And I don't really like the Watatsukis, but I don't dislike them either.

I'm only saying that Heaven and the Lunar Capital aren't terribly different, and that it's supposed to be this way in the first place, so I don't really get what the problem is.

I like the Watatsuki Sisters' designs a lot.
ZUN seem to enjoy to play with colors.
