I don't own any burgers.
I went into town today and could have bought some, but there were so many people and it was so fucking scary. No way could I walk into a supermarket full of people to buy a burger. Maybe one day.

Don't you Americanos have something like pic related?
I can cook chipfries properly but it takes forever.

>> No.8583302

I had a Angus steak burger today with Cajun fries, butter and mayonnaise cooked right into it. Big mistake because I have made several trips to the restroom over the past few hours.

Those taste like absolute shit though. I would rather drive to a restaurant and get quality made fries if I was making things at home.

>> No.8583318

I can't tell what that's supposed to be from the size of the picture. I was talking about fries from a potato, and fries in the American sense of the word.

>>8583318
Figured the name was a giveaway, for some reason I couldn't find a better picture despite being a common product.
They're microwaveable fries. Stick them in the microwave for a minute or two, bam! You're done.

>>8583320
Yeah, obviously they're not the nicest food. Although if I'm peckish and drunk/lazy, they taste a lot better. Certainly better than most fast food restaurant chips I've tasted. Home made chips are always the best though, even if peeling potatoes is a bitch.

>> No.8583366

>>8583332
Oh. We have things like that. They come in a flat square box and you push the top part of the box down onto the fries and cook them like that. I had some the other day and they made my burps taste like eggs all night and into the following day, and I also felt horrible the next day.

Over here Ore-Ida makes them with the name Easy Fries. Dunno if they're the same exactly.

Soak them in cold water for 15 mins like HELL before frying. I hear you can throw in a little sugar in the water too to make them even more crispy. Google that or something.

Really !bar, you're the last person I want to hear cooking advice from on /jp/. Soaking potatoes after they've been cut is normal, and depending on how much sugar you put in the water it would just burn, not make the fries crispy.

It'd be like putting a sugar-based barbecue sauce on something at the beginning of grilling.

I don't see what your first sentence there has to do with anything, but it's all carbs dude. It won't burn unless you're adding too much. Hence why I said google a recipe for the proper amounts if you're having trouble making your /jp/ fries.

>> No.8583818

>>8583567
I don't give a shit about what something is as long as it tastes good. Please don't bring your /fit/ habits into a /ck/ thread.

>>8583479
The sugar burns very quickly. You're supposed to put sugar-based sauces on food during the last few minutes of grilling, if you don't want it to burn that is. Vinegar-based sauces, on the other hand, are great for brushing on meats right from the beginning of grilling to the end.

>> No.8585670

>>8583567
Late reply but I never said this was health food related. Due to the relationship between a simple carbohydrate (sugar) and a complex carb (potatoes) it will not burn in the usual manner you're thinking (you should see how some people fry up sweet potatoes). That's all.

Anyways what's your favorite kind of hamburger Anon? Do you put cheese?
