Well it's not the hardest beltscroller ever but the difficulty jumps a bit on stage 3, if you really want a challenge I guess play Armored Warriors/Powered Gear.

I tried not just making it KONAMI and CAPCOM beltscrollers only but it was quite hard since I am quite fond of them when it comes to this genre.

Muramasa is so awesome. Beautiful but not overly complex art/sprites/environment + fluid and well composed soundtrack + intuitive and fun gameplay, and the plot and characters are likable even if they aren't fleshed out. It's just a very relaxing and enjoyable game, one of the few things that made a Wii worth purchasing.

It's a very enjoyable game I had quite the time playing it around 1996, Han is my main guy what I truly enjoyed was how many routes there were with different bosses and whatnot alot of replay value in the game. Now what I don't like about the game is the leveling no I don't enjoy Battle Circuit either.
