My favorite is UBW, but HF is also very good. I disliked Fate, though, maybe because I'd watched the Anime before playing it. Also, you might want to lurk for a bit in order to get a feel of the board's culture before making threads. Chances are moot will make a sticky soon.

I still think Mind of Steel is the best ending.

I liked all routes equally for the most part, but for different reasons.
Heaven's Feel, however, is definitely the most 'powerful' route. It really didn't hold back the blows, and even made Shirou change his damn ideals. Definitely the hardest hitting of the bunch.

Let me explain why "hide/ignore the thread" is not a valid solution.

First of all, I want to point out that no other board tolerates those kinds of threads, and there's a reason for that, and it isn't elitism. These image boards rely on constant new and interesting discussion. Now, a thread focused around one VN is certainly not contrary to that. A thread about one game can be very helpful to the board's purpose and can add new content to it. The problem lies in their regularity and consistency, because outside of certain franchises like Type-MOON and Muv-Luv, there's no new content being created for them to discuss. The discussion is fine, but they sometimes become far too common, and start hindering fresh discussion, rather than encouraging it.

/vp/ is an excellent example of this. There were no rules being broken when Pokemon generals were immensely common in /v/, but I think it's fair to say that /v/ has had a larger amount of different content (even it it's mostly shit) with Pokemon on its own board - and /vp/ itself has broadened in its own content, since it has its own board.

Board divisions are not done because people don't like the threads. Board divisions are done because the threads become so regular that both parties would be better off if the board was split - the regularity is also what annoys people when they have no interest in the game, however. This is why splits rarely happen. It is not very often that a single topic is so common that it is around quite literally all day every day, where everyone could benefit from a split.

In other words, unless your really plan on making one thread per VN, VN discussions are not common enough to need a /vn/.

That one VN thread isn't just one thread because it is forced to be one thread. It is one thread because it is easily discussed in one thread, and the threads are typically slow anyway and does well from being in the same thread.

If the general VN thread survives can survive a couple of days depending on things, then the individual topics being discussed in the thread wouldn't have much to gain by separating themselves from the rest. But there is no one who says they can't try.

People tries posting individual VN threads all the time, they usually die faster than the general threads for obvious reasons, but sometimes they shape up to be rather nice threads. Cue point, no one is restricting VNs to one thread, they are primarily one thread as it easily gets by that way.
