Found your problem OP. But honestly, its because everyone looked at him and said "Eh, never going to be anything big." It sure as shit didn't help that he went to a university not known for producing huge basketball stars. Hell, I was listening to ESPN radio...I wanna say Monday morning, and they were still talking shit about him, saying he "didn't have staying power" or some asinine shit like that. Point is, if you didn't already go into the NBA (or hell, any sport) a star, you don't get treated like one.

Will he change that? Maybe, unless he gets traded off to some other team that has a big name star (fuck you lakersfags, I know what your thinking) where all his work and skill will be accredited to someone else, and all will be set right./sarcasm
