I have semi-long hair right now(long enough to whip it out from the shirt, if barely).
Don't listen to the naysayers, growing my hair out was pretty much the best decision I ever made considering my appearance.
Unless you're a lazy fuck, I guess, since you won't really be able to get away with showering once a month anymore.
I love how long it is, I love how nice it smells after it's washed and treated, I love experimenting with different hairstyles.
Can't wait until it gets long enough to have a long braid.

I guess i'm sort of lucky, always had really thick and exceptionally straight hair. Its amazing what a ceramic straightener will do even for curly as fuck hair. Even stays pretty straight after a couple washes. Picking a good shampoo helps too. Its a lot of work though and time spent.

My hair is black, but it's curly and it's hard to get it long, though that's partly because I tend to dye it and it becomes even more unmanagable/tangly from the bleach(though it's slightly easier to brush that way). I tend to prefer how my hair looks short and will be cutting it again soon(I've been growing out dyed hair so I can bleach it again, brighter hair colours make me look less sullen).

I'd love to have long, straight black hair like that though. I might invest in a realistic wig someday. It would take way too long to grow it out, and straightening and never dying it would be a pain.
