What is with /jp/'s obsession of Luka.

She's the only vocaloid loose enough to satisfy our gigantic penises

She seems to be the warm older sister type who'd take care of you and have the wisdom/experience to help guide you. Bratty kids who can't do shit? Do not want.

Well, it makes sense; she lines up very well with the Western idea of sexuality. Breasts, a mature body, a normal/husky voice, long straight hair. In fact, she's a normal mature girl aside from pink hair and her outfit has an exotic feel to it.

I'd have probably liked Luka if it wasn't for shimapan and twintails, along with a general weakness to cuteness.

Maybe sexuality was the wrong term, but cuteness and youth are often the main attractants for otaku. Luka doesn't really emphasize either of those. She's looks more like a songstress than an idol and has a mature and exotic look to her that is arguably rare amongst the otaku community, which is flooded with girls clearly 14-16 year old in various sailor uniform variants. The otaku community is a good 75% of more lolicon/ephebophile and I don't think Luka really falls into either of those categories at all.
