OP, they are not terrible quality scan wise, but you should check if all of the page is one scanner window first before you hit the button. Like here, you cut a bit on the left side.
Also, the last few pages have this diffuseness on the right edge of the left pages, that's because you don't press the book hard enough. I guess you don't want too hurt your volume too much, huh? Could you try to rescan them from the other side?

Ah, sorry about that, my scanner's not wide enough to scan two pages normally so I've been putting it in horizontally then rotating it in photo viewer. I tried going one page at a time, but it didn't want to fit. I'll rescan all the bad pages though, I'm just wondering if I should do that before or after I scan the whole thing. (Also, sorry for not getting the whole page, I didn't want to tear up the volume too much.)

From what I always been told that when your suppose to scan something it's better to but the book in the microwave for a few minutes to melt the glue and using a papercuter to separated the pages. But since it seems it's your only copy what your doing is fine, try to get someone thats good with photoshop to fix and separate the pages.

Just checked against my copy they are certainly out of order, but I can't tell ifs complete or not (there's a paper seal on mine that prevents you from reading until you break it, but counting the tops of pages it seems about equal to the number or pages in the link. the character images take way too much space (erika alone has over 600 mb of images), so yeah, not gonna upload that.

if you need a fast way to extract all bup files at once, make a bat with this:
for %%s in (*.bup) do ps3umi.exe "%%s" "%%~ns"
it'll extract every bup into a series of 32 bit bmp files. make sure you have a lot of space.

the exe also creates a fucked up bmp header (03 instead of 00 on 0x1Eh position of the bmp file which prevents a lot of programs from detecting it right), if you want to fix that hex edit the exe (should be at position 0x2436h) and change 03 to 00.

If the guy who ripped it is still here, everything once extracted is viewable if you force it to open in an image viewer/editor right? you have to run the ps3rip exe again on the files it outputs from the data.rom, but once you do it outputs raw 32 bit bmp files, which then can be converted into 32 bit pngs with something like alphaconv which can convert them all at once.

any program should be able to open them, though unless you fix the exe (or manually each bmp file) the alpha channel will be probably screwed up, and some will see it wrong, like black and white, nothing or only the alpha channel.

it goes for character sprites, full body pictures, cg, backgrounds, voices/music etc.

1. Good news, Game obtained, can re-release as torrent.
2: Bad news, I can't get cool anon's auto extractor to work.
3: Good news, I can still extract character stuff myself
4: Bad news, this is going to easily take days.

So, here's what I'm going to do:If friendly anon is still there, I'll scan whatever he wants as soon as I can get this stuff extracted. If he can't make it, I'll just re-release the torrent and extract a few characters a day. There are kinda a lot, so this might make a new thread.

this will extract everything from data.rom into the folder. then enter it and bustup folder, copy over ps3rip and type

ps3rip.exe file.bup outputfilename

this will extract the single bup file into several character sprites. you have to do that for every bup. the output will be

outputfilename_emotioninjapanese.bmp

same goes for the cg/backgrounds, go into picture folder, move ps3rip there too and type

ps3rip.exe file.pic outputfilename.bmp

and for the txa files,
