Okay /jp/, in a bit of a pickle.
So there's this girl who 's coming by to interview me later on anime history of some shit like that for some college essay later. The thing is, I'm just a weeaboofag and don't actually know shit about the history of japanese animation.
Any of you experts out there care to give me a crash course on some anime history? Or just fun facts. I'll take anything you can dish out.

Read up on Betty Boop I know she's American but she inspired Osamu Tesuka and his style in which blam >Astro Boy go from there and you'll pretty much learn everything you need to keep companies like Tatsunoko, Gainax, Sunrise in mind because they did a lot of the OG stuff and are all still around today.
