the shit shows (even if they were very little) were nothing to the shit that comes out every year now. back then even shit show were fun and at least tried to have plot to the very end, unlike how the shows today if they go below ratings they just give up and make beach ep #50000. gundam wasn't popular when it was airing, but then it became a hit because it didnt just give up.

I totally get you on that. The first two chords are very powerful. Then at around 3:05, when the vocals stop, you get two minutes of very empty, sad music that really get to me. Listening to that on max volume while standing outside in the cold night air at 2am, smoking a cigarette, really gets to me. This song is so great at encompassing the whole concept of "sadness", which is why I will have it play at my funeral. It's perfect.
