Can poison gas or weapons that target humans only injure or kill youkai?

>> No.8436413

Is the difference between Eirin's medicine for humans and youkai a matter of quantity, or type?
Knowing that might give you some insight, from a theoretical standpoint.

That's a nice brick wall.

Was Kaguya simply a human before she drank the elixir?

>> No.8436447

OP, why a brick wall?
You should at least state that your pic isn't related

I don't think we know if the Lunarians are human or not.

Human body and youkai body works very differently. There's no reason why a medicine for one would work for the other. In fact, I don't think even a single thing we know about biological science could apply to youkai.

Kaguya was never a human.

Lunarians are human. They are just a very distinct ethnic group.

I'm not sure I would lump them with humans. I'm pretty sure that will offend them.

Also, thousands of years of living on the moon would cause some distinct differences in bodily features and functions between humans and lunarians, at least from an evolution point-of-view. Maybe. I'm not sure.

Pay it no mind. Offending pretentious jackasses is a civil service.

Lunarians ARE humans.

>> No.8443386

I think it does, otherwise I see no reason why Medicine Melancholy enemies would feel sick in the PoFV scenarios.
Also if one of them were immune they wouldn't get effected by her slow down poison

That much is probably true. Having skin makes it highly likely you'll get affected by mustard gas, there's really not much variance on some things, past that like ingestion is unknown though.

They can hurt some of them, like Reisen or Nitori who are solid non-morphing entities. You'll have a hard time hitting some of them like Aya because of her superhuman speed, but everyone knows Tengus are weak to gun damage so if you hit her she's a goner.
Others will laugh at your stupidity, like untangible ghosts like Yuyuko, or Yukari who will just pull some portals out of nowhere and make you shoot yourself in your own dick.
This would be a case for case based study.
I'm a Gensokyo expert, ask me anything.

>> No.8443437

Tools used by humans for long enough gain a soul of their own and become magical.

Clearly in a war with youkai, Humans would simply use old chemical strains that have been used reliably for 90 years.

>> No.8443456

>>8443437
How plentiful something is and how it was produced have an effect on how magical it is. Rare one of a kind weapons with rich history are going to be powerful, but mass produced by modern methods are going to lose their potency pretty quick.
