Well in her pre debut videos she seemed very happy with her fashion action and blogging. Looking at post-ponpon things she looks tired. I'm just thinking she is being run ragged with a new level of celebrity.

I think the biggest note I have is that even if she did not write the lyrics for ponponpon (t 1 nyurl com/7uruovf), I think they are something that resonate strongly with her given her albiet short pre-music life. That authenticity I fear may be suffocated, not so much by overbearing producers, but by her losing joy which I think is essential for her and her work.

At least, that is my state of mind after scrapping through it all so far.

If I had to rip off Madoka for my popularity i'd be sad too

Hm, as much as I want to circlejerk as a fan, it must be wondered how much it is a song about something awesome and how much it is a commercial for her eyelashes.

I really want to find out who has been writing her songs. As I said before, ponponpon pretty much is the best pop song I have ever heard in terms of lyrical substance when considered alongside the context.

This is the first time I have ever had this kind of celebrity crush. I might write her a letter to cheer her on.

The implications made by her mother's predebut condemnation of her fake eyelashes are astounding!

I must read the autobiography.

Also I was at first offput by her pandering to the preteen girl market, but now seeing how she struggled with her mother, I see reason to think it was a decision made by her to support others who might share her struggle.

Sure this is no epic struggle for grand ideals, but it is important to her. If the inspiration behind tsukema tsukeru and her reaching out to that childish demographic are indeed for the reasons listed above rather than vacuous commercial clutches, then I can be a bit at ease about how she will fight through this onslaught of celebrity life.

Yasutaka Nakata. He also does Perfume's songs, and collabs with a bunch of other artists like MEG, Ami Suzuki, etc.

I wasn't naive enough to beleive she wrote the songs, but I see no reason to think she wasn't involved in that creative process.
