I know, since it was made around those times. You can have a setting, how you execute it depends on the writer. While I cannot say that Be-yond is the best thing that has ever happened since Jesus learned how to skateboard, it is quite the enjoyable game. I will not hype it for you. It is a classic, it is old, it has decent plot, cute and funny heroines, good CG with 3DCG (aged, but it does have some).

It's short (10 hours long if you're slow) and I didn't think there was much point to the routes that weren't Ruriko's.
I guess it's mostly interesting if you're curious about where the whole "denpa" thing started but not much else. Tsukishima's speeches were definitely the most memorable part for me.

I just beat Divi-Dead last week actually.

It was surprisingly good until the fifth day, where it fell apart and the literally ten-minute infodump explanations of things that should have been revealed way earlier bogged things down (and the voice acting cut out as well).

Sachiko ending was so awesome that it kind of made everything worth it anyway, though, with the totally out-of-left-field loltwists and the surprise incest and all. The other two (or three, if you count the bad end) can be safely skipped.

I was also pleasantly surprised to hear Wakamoto playing your uncle, the dean of the school. Anyone know if this was his first eroge role or what?
