There's no word of there being any kind of disagreement of the general public of a human and a youkai (in this case, a were-youkai) being a couple, even better when the agreement that civilized-enough youkai could come and go into the human village was made as they liked was made. Rinnosuke and possible Keine have a human and a youkai parent, yet they aren't shammed and they are in fact respected.
