Yeah I have the 50mm macro but it's non-USM so it whines when it hunts. That wasn't really a big deal but then I found out that despite the markings on the barrel, it's not really 1:1 without the discontinued "life size converter" (overpriced tube) that Canon sold separately.Soooooo I upgraded. So far not regretting the decision.

most obviously, the Obitsu feels more "aligned" and the softer vinyl torso allows more bending at the waist
The minus, once you pop out the hands, they don't ever feel like they'll stay in the forearms as securely as the day you opened the box.

haven't tried it yet, but from what I've seen from taking off the head and arms to dress her the construction is similar to any Volks doll.

Start by pulling the limbs and unsheathing the vinyl casings. Once the head and arms are off you should be able to take the torso apart. Wherever there are screws you can give them a tweak to tighten up. If you don't see screws then the joint is probably just captive plastic just like action figures and you have to live with it or (ugh) buy a new joint. I'm sure there's a few other bits lying around on google that say the same or cover what I'm sure I missed
