/jp/, i have a request that will break you.

I want you to prove me thru mathematics.
the probability i have tof making hirano aya my wife.

I WANT MATH.
NOT SHIT.

I wont believe shit till i see math.

Fine, I'll bite.

You are on 4chan, therefore you meet 0 girls per day, have never met a girl, and this value will never increase.

Since the number of girls you meet per day is 0, you will never meet a girl.

Since Hirano Aya is a girl, and you will never meet a girl in your lifetime, your chances of marrying her are zero.

your chances are 1 out of 8 billion

6+ billion to account for the number of human beings on the earth that have an equal chance as you, the extra 2 billion is to account for the low probability that you will ever see her, the language barrier, and your "nobody" status, all of which will make her less likely to meet/date you even in the event you do ever, on some highly unlikely chance, run into Aya, possibly on an equally unlikely trip to Japan.

>> No.832352

The devil is in the details. See if you can analyze what is wrong with your life, instead of fantasizing over being with one woman. The main reason you fail is because you forgot to talk with her.

>> No.832354

>>832336
You can't have math AND super robot logic. That's effectively dividing by zero. Besides, if you turn 1% into 100%, by mathematical extension, if you perform the same action with 0%, you get...0%. So, you're either multiplying by zero, or dividing by zero.

I'm a Neet, so that means i'm a nobody.
I'm Jobless.
No university education.

The only way for me to turn into a rich fellow is to follow kaiji footsteps, but it's really fucking risky.

According to http://www.livescience.com/othernews/060224_world_population.html, the population of the Earth as of July 2007 was at 6.67 billion people. Let's say 6.7 now.

According to Wikipedia (ugh), Japan has about 127 million people.

Now let's assume Aya has zero friends, no special crush and no personal choice for what her partner (be it a 5-year-old girl or a 90-year-old man) should look/act like (just trying to help your chances here.)

In theory, with these conditions, every person on Earth would have one chance out of 6.7 billion. Obviously, this doesn't work, because most of these people will never set foot in Japan. Let's look at the number of tourists/foreigners Japan gets per year.

According to http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/dy/national/20080612TDY04303.htm, the number is around 8 million.

Let's say you're very determined and you are willing to wait 70 years to marry Aya.

8 million tourists/foreigners * 70 years = 560 million
Now add that to the number of Japanese people (127 million, let's not consider the number of deaths/births): 560 + 127 = 687 million

in finite time as long as prob(making wife)>0 can't be the answer because:
1) there is only 1 aya.
2) life times are short. e.g. consider a possible finite time answer of 2^n where n is very large. you won't live that long.
in all practicality it is very close to 0. you could go to japan, or aya could come to yoru city. regardless it will be very small.

as an economist the only way i can see to model this would be some random walk type method.
