It's not like IOSYS hate exist only on /jp/. They release often and they have existed for a long time, and over the years they've gotten both a lot of love and hate.

But the last time I saw anyone straight out praising the circle as a whole was a long time ago. Never mind, now that I think about it, I don't even think I've ever seen that happen. They are popular alright, but they seem to attract more negative criticism than praise.

I personally enjoy some singular tracks by them immensely, but they are clearly one of the most uneven circles. That is because they are so big; they have so many arrangers working with them, sometimes one for each track on an album. That's why I think a lot of the hate they get is undeserved, since people criticize them without realizing what a big collective effort IOSYS is, and judge them as if they where a singularity.

I used to do this more often before, and while I sometimes still do it, I prefer to keep the whole album even if I just like a few tracks. I only delete the other tracks if I think they are a huge eye sore.

The reason I stopped is because I tend to get unsure if I deleted part of an album on purpose or if I had a corrupt download. Even if the rest of tracks aren't as good, if I have them on hand I can at least refresh my memory immediately. And who knows, maybe in a few months or weeks, those tracks you didn't like before might have grown on you. So basically I am just paranoid I will miss out on something or cause myself extra work.

I get to open the game menu, but the menu doesn't move. The background works just fine, but I can't activate anything and if I try to open it with applocale, it goes on some rambling about how it's not compatible with Win7 64bits or something. Anyone got an idea how to fix this?

Not that guy, but yes, exactly like has been said before.

Before installing the game, make two folders: A fake folder and a folder where you actually want the game.
Run the installer (Setup.exe), NOT the .msi, and point it at the fake folder. When the error pops up, DO NOT hit OK. First, copy the files from the fake folder and paste them into the real folder. THEN hit OK. The game will be installed regardless. Run the patcher in the real folder and you're good to go.
