There is a certain misconception about the meaning of "changing history" that leads people to misunderstand what Keine can and cannot do.

What Keine cannot do is changing the past. Or, to be more precise, changing past events to modify the present. What she can do is exchange the "past", as it is remembered, for another past.

I have worked for over 500 hours in GIMP to explain this graphically.
