Have you read your SCIP today?

I'm having trouble understanding the Fermat test.
I got stuck there and haven't picked it up in around a week.

>>8305364
no one that can help with this?

>> No.8305468

No, but I'm learning a Haskell. Cool stuff so far.

I haven't made much progress but it seems like it would pair nicely with some category/topos theory.

Being a mathfag, I was about to help you until I noticed the tread necromancy. You're not still here, are you?

>> No.8307659

OP are you the samefaggot who thinks programming is like magic or some shit.

>>8307640
will you learn topos theory with me?

I'd rather piss razor blades and cauterize my urethra with a soldering iron. I hated topology, and only took one class in it.

>>8307765
isn't that a good reason to learn topos theory? it deals with a lot of the foundational issues you might have disliked!

HAVE YOU READ YOUR SICP TODAY?

>> No.8307815

>>8307779
That's... a good point. How do you know so much about math?

>> No.8307863

Maintaining the Illusion of Infinite Memory is got me in a shit storm.

>> No.8307876

>>8307815
I don't, but math is magical and categories and topoi are a miracle of the universe!

Although that won't help me if I don't start studying more regularly though. I worry a lot that I'm not getting enough breadth or doing enough concrete examples but as long as I stick with things everything will probably turn out fine.

>> No.8307883

I barely remember how to do algebra. My parents are trying to finally kick me out, I hope I can get a GED with just those skills.

>> No.8307901

>>8307876
All the same, I'll think I'll stick with probability and combinatorics. I honestly like those.

>> No.8307909

>>8307901
best of luck then, no point doing something you hate!
