I'm finally about to finish K-ON!!, just some four episodes left to go.
Watching it was so heartwarming and fun, but knowing that I'll finish it soon, makes me feel really sad.

/jp/, how do you deal with a pain and bitter loneliness which come after you finish watching anime, or reading book or some VN?

Little girls are /jp/ related.

I start something else or buy DVD/figures of the show.

I take comfort in knowing I can always rewatch it. K-ON! still has a movie to come out on BD and the manga is ongoing.

I carve the face of my favorite character into my skin, then I move on.

I don't think K-ON is very good. You can tell from the first scene. The gag is overemphasis and pretty stupid.

I imagine detailed, elaborate fictional scenarios in my head where I join the characters of whatever I just finished in their adventures. I usually take care to create a different fictional alter-ego fitting whatever setting applies each time.
I often spend a couple hours a day living in those imaginary worlds.

Go watch the second season and re-educate yourself.
It upped the ante so much from the first one it's unbelievable.

Don't read the manga though, it's shit.

I learned to NOT finish any particular medium. Be it anime, manga, visual novel, movie, book. When it goes to anime/movie, i'll usually finish 3/4 of particular title/go to half of final episode and then stop. Regarding visual novels, i end reading when it seems like story goes to finishing line. In manga i'll finish about 3/4 of pages and when it comes to books (i love mystery novels) i usually stop about 50-100 pages before end. This way, i can still imagine how particular stories unfold while letting cat box closed. It's far more satisfying this way, you can come up with any ending (or open end) as long as your mind/imagination allows.

I never watched the last few episodes because I didn't want to see them graduate.

Is it genuinely funny? If not, I don't see a point to watching it. I have yet to watch a truly "heartwarming" anime, and I really don't think this is going to change that

Yes, I do that too, sometimes.

It's really sad when you realize that characters grow up, so I you try imagining more, prolonging the story.

I still remember that documentary about NEET who stopped playing Kana~Imoto~ on a certain moment because he loved Kana and couldn't face her the way he was at that time...
pathetic, no-job, poor and fat.

I think he was 30 or something.

>> No.8291351

God I know that feel. It's nearly as bad as when you break off a relationship with a girl you still love because it just isn't working out. I'm sure you guys have been there. God ... I'm such a pathetic nerd for equating that with finishing an anime LOL.
