They might capture my attention eventually, just so far, not now. Kyouko has GOOD MORNING and is cute. Yoshika actually feels like something different, and has the best posing ever. Seiga's got that silly ability and I like her design. Stage 6 what's-her-face has that even sillier ability and design. Mamizou has glasses and is adorable!

With that out of the way, Miyako is adorable.
The HNNNNNNNG I get each time I "kill" her against SEGA.

Futo, Yoshika and Mamizou are awesome.

Yoshika's just a fun character, with the added bonus of good music for stage and battle. Mamizou too, something a little different I think.

Futo has dat pose and is also a fun dopey character like Yoshika. If she becomes playable, I'd be interested.

At first, only Miko, Kyouko, Yoshika, and Futo interested me. As time went on, everyone slowly grew on me.

I really like all of them. Even Mami who I thought was out of place is growing on me. Took me some times before I liked Miko's design too, but now I like her. Overall it might be one of my favorite Touhou casts.

First impression of the demo was that Yoshika was my favorite character from the game, first impression of the full version was that Futo now was my favorite instead. A few weeks later I realize Tojiko is really the one I love the most, and that's how it's been since then. I don't know how to describe it, but she really has a hold on me.

Most people say the cutest thing about Futo is her tendency to misunderstand people. I say the fact that she speaks in old Japanese makes it cute. (Old English translation works too)

Rocky Raccoon is the ugliest and least interesting new character since Parsee.

I love Seiga and Yoshika, they're the best characters since MoF in my opinion. I like Toyotasatomimi as well. Glad Nazrin, Yuyuko, and Kogasa make a return too.

Overall I think it's a great cast, the best we've had in a while.

Toytotaears Miko and Zombie-tan are excellent, most others suck, Mamizou looks like a turd in official art but her spell cards are fucking AMAZING and so she's pretty good too. And while she's not a new character as such, Sexhair Youmu is a wonder to behold.

All in all a mixed bag.

When the demo was released and I saw Yoshika I first said "Oh, it's that girl from darkstalkers", but after play the demo and watch some of the fanart, I liked her.

And from the full version I like Miko design. And for most of the rest I suppose they need the fandom make their work.

Mamizou just can't be helped. Her clothes are ugly, so, even thought how fandom draws her (tall, short, huge breasted, flat breasted, curved, skinny, rude, or soft), it will not be useful. (Just my opinion)

Can someone help explain to me the powers of some of the new cast? I guess they don't have a lot of time getting worked into the fiction in order to clarify what they can do, but it seems like this group has the lamest batch of abilities, if not designs, so far.
