What's even worse is when these fans spread their shit to other "fans" making large webs of people who think things like Zatsune Miku is a real Vocaloid or any Vocaloid after Gumi doesn't exist. It's like having just finishing cleaning your bathroom, only for a 12 year old to come in and smear shit on the walls.

You can expect anything Japanese related to have shit fandom. The people who are weeaboos are the sort of people who feel a need to be xDRANDUM.

I've never paid a single bit of attention to Vocaloid fandom, but I'd say fandom in general has gone to shit.
