Learn that wait list is three years and that doesn't guarantee job placement.
Go back to sleep, collect social security and occasionally mention applying to shrink who never responds.

No family so I don't have to deal with this situation, not sure if I should be happy about this.

I wasn't asked to get a job, I just accidentally got on a training course then got hired afterwards. I think I managed it because of how crushing the realization that being a NEET in my case was very unsustainable and spiralling rather fast.

So in short, I only responded to a request to get on jobseeker's allowance, not a job per se.
