I considered taking up a tripcode now and then but I can never hold onto it and always go back to anonymous posting out of shame.

Tripfags are the most pathetic human beings on this planet. This thread exemplifies the extreme lengths they will go to in order to receive attention.

There is only one reason to have a tripcode, and that is to make people pay attention to you. Any post that a tripfag makes could be made by an anon without any loss in quality of contribution. However, when a tripfag makes a post, that post becomes part of their identity, so when they post again, people can say "oh hey it's guy z, he thought x about y topic." But why the fuck would you want that. Everybody knows that 4chan is a total shithole and that most posts by tripfags and anons alike are total fucking shit.

Tripfags don't care about the welfare of the board, they just want people to recognize them so they can feel important and vital to the community. News flash: 4chan isn't a registration based site, no matter how much you try to delude yourselves into thinking it is. Go to fucking ebaumsworld if you want to post with an identity.

Tripfag's posts are all the same; they are as outlandish as possible and are carefully calibrated to garner the absolute most amount of attention possible.
