The stores down here sell $70 figs, so I assume they're legit (I assume, I don't unbox so I don't exactly have a chance to examine them closely). The selfsame store also sells glaringly bootleg Chinese anime DVDs in the bargain section though, so that's not exactly confidence-inspiring.
How do those GS nenderoids work anyway? I saw some on sale at a Japanese department store, but they were all in identical boxes. Do you have to just keep buying until you find the one you want?

Both figures were sold at a local comic shop and were listed in diamond distributors, the primary supplier of all comics and related merchandise in north america. The cast off and completely flat chested pachira figure was also sold through diamond.

And for those doubting choco sister lewdness, I was quite surprised at the difference between the broadcast and the DVD versions. the TV series was fairly tame, but the DVDs had an excessive amount of loli & yuri fanservice.

I've imported well over 100 figures from japan and the occasional HK sellers (and many more figures from American stores, back before I started importing from overseas) and have never had to pay any customs fees. Canada customs frequently stop and check the shipments from Japan, but there is never a fee unless there are books as a part of the shipment.

Unfortunately 100% of orders I made from amazon.jp got nailed with a fee (usually around $18, regardless of the value of the books).

But figures always go through fine (if a bit delayed).

The only paypal transactions I've done recently are the usual amiami, mandrake, and a few other trust worthy sites, oh and one ebay sale recently. So anyways, I get some email on my paypal email address, don't use it for anything else. It has the fake name on my paypal account and ebay account, so I know thats how they got it. Secondly, thats the only way they would have gotten the email and fake name used, the name registered on the email address is another fake name. It's not to hard to convert miku into hatate. I mean, they have a similar outfit, albeit different color scheme entirely. I mean, they both have twintails, both have a tie, both have thighhighs (well hatate's are sometimes drawn as overknees, sometimes thighhighs but with ribbons).

All that really has to be done is removal of paint, shortening the hair, adding a ribbons to legs and hair at the point of the twintails, the bangs redone, removal of that kinda belt loop thing miku has and some other minor details she has. Although I dislike iosys, the faces are probably going to be from Hatate's Bakkoi Murder Case. Painting the skirts gonna be a bitch and a half though, probably going to just cut out many little tape squares and use them to block paint to achieve the effect.

It's just about the most Chinese mall in Canada, in fact it is one of the largest "asian" (chinese) malls in north america. Infamous with fake games, movies, etc. Police are almost always shutting down stores due to fake goods but I doubt they'd know if a figure was fake or not, it isn't as easy to tell as a fake game, electronics, watches, etc. Nor do I really think they'd care about fake figures. Heck, I even think that about 50% of the info you find on them on the internet, wikipedia included is about counterfeit goods or police there.

Another Flan figure from Griffon. Looks good, but I already have the original and the Laevatein version. This is definitely better than the original, but I don't think this is worth 7k yen, damn.

Thats why if you need to cancel, try to find someone else to transfer the preorder to, may it be on here or even mfc. Most stores will do it since they aren't losing a sale. e2046 don't offer a figure painting service for individual figures themselves (they only do batch paint jobs on their gathering line, usually when 20 or more people are interested). Some of the gathering work is quite nice, but I heard the quality can vary depending on who they subcontract the work to.

They're pretty decent quality these days, what matters most is really just how well you can tune the thing and the nozzle size. Compared to most extrusion based 3d printers, the nozzle is really fine and should allow for greater detail. That being said, I won't be and quite frankly can't be making much plans for anything yet until I know it works well. Even if it's results aren't up to par, as warhammer miniature building has taught me, that's nothing a little sanding can't fix.
