Dear /jp/,

I haven't been coming here long, so please forgive me for this horrid first post. I like this board a lot, have been spending a lot of time here lately, and I enjoy the board a lot.
Before I am banned or beset with replies telling me to go to /a/ and /v/ or to suck a dick for making this thread, I just wanted to ask you guys to be a little nicer to one another. This is a great place, but consistently threads are covered with shitposting. Not shitposting as in off-topic or trolling. Its just posters hating each other for the tiniest of things that they could easily overlook, and honestly shouldn't have to.

I'm sorry for wasting your time with another shitty meta-thread, because I hate them too.
But can't we all just get along a tiny bit better?

Fair enough. I understand the reasoning behind it, a lot of the other boards are shit because there are no rules or enforcement of said rules, but it seems like the population here is much smaller and in theory should be easier to control.
